Page 2 (originally page 1) (layout stage)

I came up with an idea of Lucy hunting along with Plus.

She looks kinda punky. My Oldest brother is musician.
So, i thought it would be cool to have her play some obnoxious music (annoying Plus) to make something happen. this is where i was at with this page.

I want to state for anyone interested that i listen to NPR or pandora for the best workflow.

anyway, i drew out the page (this is a layout btw, not finished)

To tell the truth, all i had pre-planned with the first panel. not much huh?

I decided somewhere near the end that i would have something sticking out of the (cactus? tree thing?...i imagine it being green at any rate) and that it would be pissed at the music, so it would screech.

and...... then i decided, "man, this is a terrible first page." I need to show Lucy playing the music".

make it the second page and start on the first.

In fact, I find it impossible to move forward from thinking to doing.

It's been MONTHS(!) and I still haven't gotten do drawing the comic I'm planning.
