UPDATE___
A good example i am looking for is the coloring style of the Xbox360 game MASS EFFECT. It has a grainy look, glow, good light sources, but can be dark when needed, .grrr, i am having trouble explaining all these contrasting looks...but if you google the screen shots i think it will make sense.
I am doing a lot of sci-fi stuff, so being able to do space is good too.
Okay, later

I need a colorist. Please spread this around to anyone you know or post in your journals. I would greatly appreciate the help.

---Before i go on, know that none of these stipulations is because of Ego or whatever. -----

Why-
I feel like i would be getting a lot more work done if i knew i had someone i could trust and work with that would be coloring my lines. While i love coloring, and it is part of my art, i tend to spend more time with it than the lines, and often get frustrated, and i think a lot doesn't get done because of that. And if it works out, the completed art will be all that much better.

What i can promise-
Publishing, and some money. Not everything will be published, but there will be publishing. I am currently working on a series that i didn't plan on having a colorist, but if it all works out....i might change that. But mainly this is for pinups and covers and things. whatever comes up. granted, the money would be coming from the publishers and such, so i am not sure on the rates. but probably don't expect all that much.

What i am looking for-
I serious, dedicated, and professional artist. Someone who would love to color my stuff, for fun and for work. a partner if you will.
Someone who i can completely trust where their coming from. Has to have a good sense of color schemes and be able to add depth and atmosphere. Basically someone who knows what they are doing and not just starting out. Not that if you are just starting out means you don't.

i am looking for someone who gets off on coloring, and gets excited about doing it. and is open to changes if need be and comments. Someone who if they think they are doing something right that i disagree with can explain it to me.
Knowing that changes with the work is not personal and is open to thoughts is a must.

Also know that i might add some elements to the finished work. little things, but i will be open about it.

What i tend to like-
I like colors like Simon Bisley's, but also Moebius. Grungy stuff, textured. i dig lots of colors, but i also like the desatured look.  Do what you do though.
---------

I know that thats all pretty specific, but i am shooting high. and straight. I apparently am picky.

---------

I have never done this before so i dunno how it will turn out. but i hope well.
------

here are links to some sample images to work off of.

I hope the low res will work, but if you need the high res. Let me know.

There are no deadlines for this, but the sooner the better.
I will also post up the links here.

And their might be some immediate work if i find someone.

Thanks everybody.
Heart-Tim
